If you want to get Married in the Scottish Highlands then you really could not do better than hold the sort of day that Caroline and Benji had back in November. I’ve known Caroline for some time and she always said that Glenshee with a dusting of snow on the hills was what she wanted for her big day. Well, her wish came true – a lovely but cold day with just a light dusting of snow on the tops of the mountains coupled with a clear dry day. Perfect

Caroline was getting ready on her parents farm near Alyth so I started my day there, the marquee was up and looking fantastic, I was impressed with the little details like the old Skis for table names, obviously a lot of thought had gone into the day. After a few photos round the farmhouse, it was time to shoot up the glen to capture some shots of the guys.  Glenshee Church is pretty small, it was almost standing room only, thankfully Caroline had reserved a spot for me with a good view of the proceedings. The Minister had Christened Caroline so he knew the family very well, its always nice when there is a family connection.

After the Service and a group shot of everyone there, Caroline, Benji and I headed up the hills in a landrover for some couple shots, great backgrounds and lovely scenery.

Back at the farmhouse, the party was ready to go, speeches followed by dinner then a fantastic Ceilidh with music by Callanish – the floor was heaving

What a fantastic day with a great family, thanks Caroline and Benji for allowing me to record your special day
