Inchture Hotel Wedding Photographs

The Inchture Hotel is not a venue I work in often which is surprising really, its a popular and busy venue, its not too far from home and I have a lot of family connections with Inchture. None the less, I only work there about once or twice per year.

Janey and Stuart booked me ages ago, they booked me to only cover the main part of the day, no bridal prep or dancing – while almost everyone books me for the whole day, I actually enjoy the odd Wedding where I get finished early and have less editing to do, especially right in the middle of busy Wedding Season, it’s good to have a Saturday night free!

Anyway, I was early as usual and waited around eating my lunch until Stuart and his guys arrived looking very smart, they had all been out for haircuts in the morning and their kilts looked great, nice tartan. The weather was kind to us, well sort of, very sunny which is actually not great for photography but so much better than wind and rain.

Janey arrived bang on time, just a few minutes for a couple of photos at the door before the Service started. The service by A Registrar from Perth was lovely and personal, not too long, a couple of readings and that was it.  Time for photography ! We headed out to the back garden for a large group photo before I worked me way through the list of family photos. I had discussed the option to go up to the hills above Abernyte with Janey and Stuart, they agreed it would be nice to get a great view in at least a couple of photos. I had this image in my mind of them in the middle of a field but Janey was worried about damaging her dress. Just as we were deliberating, a local came over and offered us the use of his garden that had the same view Рit was a really nice gesture and we managed a couple of cracking photos.

We were back in time for Janey and Stuart to do a bit of mingling before being called for Dinner and Speeches

What a cracking day with lovely people – thanks for having me Janey and Stuart.
