Piperdam Wedding Photographer Angus Forbes

It’s fair to say the weather was not nice to us this time, when I arrived at Piperdam it was crashing down and it continued to do so for most of the day. Claire and David had asked me to photograph all the guests on arrival and thankfully I found a dry spot by the door. I managed to persuade the guys to step outside for a couple of photos before they got too wet and then Claire arrived earlier than expected so it was on with the service.

A lovely service conducted by Angus Registrars with a couple of readings but the best bit was the first kiss when Claire and Davids daughter could not watch, have a look at the photo to see her hiding her face during the first kiss.

Once the service was over we had to take most of the family photos inside and thankfully Piperdam staff were able to give me the main room for a while to do this. The rain got a little less as the day progressed and we managed a few shots outside just before dinner, thankfully I was able to make use of the scenery at Piperdam.

The speeches were hilarious, just the right amount of time then everyone managed to get on with dinner. Meanwhile I was stuffing my face with Steak Pie and Sticky Toffee Pudding in a side room while I started editing the days photographs

The kids were able to play on the swings outside and we even managed to persuade Claire onto the grass by the pond for a few shots before the dancing started.

Thanks Claire and David for choosing me as your photographer, it was a pleasure to meet you
