Paul and Jenni decided on St Andrews as the location for their big day in August, specifically Upper College Hall for the Service and Lower College Hall for the meal and reception. They chose to have a Humanist Wedding Service which is proving to be a very popular choice here in Scotland.
My day began (as it usually does) at Jenni Hotel Room in Dundee where, along with her bridesmaids, she was getting ready.
This is a great time to get photographs of the things that are important to you on your big day. Jenni had lots of Jewellery and presents but most importantly was her late Fathers Wedding Ring
Then its off to the venue for photographs of the Groom, Lower College Halls has some great locations for photography in good weather and bad
Jimmy Doig is a well known and respected Piper on the Wedding Circuit
Jenni was escorted to the Wedding by Ross, her best friend
Paul and his Best man waited patiently for her arrival
Such a lovely day, there was even ice cream for the guests
The three of us went for a stroll round St Andrews to make as much use of the day as we could
This is one of my most favorite shots of 20111, I love this photograph
St Andrews and in particular the Lower College Halls proved a wonderful setting for a Scottish Wedding, great food, great staff and ideal for photography. If you fancy a Scottish Wedding in St Andrews then it is well worth a look
