In Wedding Photography

My last Wedding of 2012 was to be held in Forbes of Kingennie, a lovely resort on the outskirts of Dundee, I’m a regular photographer here and know the area well. Forbes of Kingennie (no relation by the way) has some great places for outdoor photography but in late December, just 6 days from the Winter Solstice, we didn’t make much use of them!

We decided to make use of the marquee in the gardens for family group photographs, it was pretty cold but at least we were sheltered from the rain and the white interior provides lovely light
Most couples elect to stay in the boat house on the night of their Wedding so we headed over there for a few couple shots, it’s a lovel’y little building and by moving a few bits of furniture about it’s possible to get a good range of backgrounds
Joanne was carrying a beautiful bouquet from Stucio & Waow
Back to the main building for a few more shots before the Speeches
Speeches are great for facial expressions
And, finally the dancing shots – always great for some people pics

Joanne and Mike, it was a pleasure to be invited into your big day and to be trusted with your photography. Best wishes for the future.
