Forbes of Kingennie is a lovely venue to the east of Dundee, I photograph loads of Weddings there and know the staff very well. I was delighted that Sam and Martyn decided to book me for their Wedding on recommendation of Karen and Duncan
Sam was absolutely certain that she didn’t want any shots before the Wedding so my day started at Forbes of Kingennie capturing some of the details of the day before I caught up with Martyn and his best man.
There are a few great little spots around the resort for photography and I took Martin to a couple of them that I know well.
Leo wasn’t keen to have his photograph taken so I left it for a while, he was much more in the mood later on as if often the case
The layout of Forbes of Kingennie means that the Groom often catches sight of the Bride as she walks along to the service, I think Martyn liked what he saw
Think Sam was pleased too!
In the shoulder months, this is a good spot for group photographs but in mid summer it’s not so good, the sun is too harsh round here in mid summer
A little walk round the fishing lochs opens up a whole range of places to photograph a Bride and Groom, this usually ends up at the Boat House
Speeches are a great time to catch people when they are not aware they are being photographed.
Another great Wedding, great couple, great venue and great weather – what more can you ask for.
