You can’t beat a Ballathie House Hotel Wedding, especially in the Autumn when the trees are just turning that beautiful golden colour. Paul and Kellys Wedding was just such a day, clear dry weather and the trees round Ballathie just turning to Autumn colours, you really can’t beat Scotland at this time of year.
As usual I started off with Kelly who was getting ready, well she was pretty much ready thanks to the skills of Kirstie Macpherson Make Up but there was still the opportunity for a few shots in the bridal suite of her dress, shoes and other bits and pieces. Paul was next door getting ready, he is actually a Chef at Ballathie and I hear he was in the kitchen checking up on things a couple of times in the morning.
A beautiful service conducted by Jane Bechtel brought Kelly to tears (not for the first time), then everyone outside for a big group shot before some couple shots sound the stunning grounds of the hotel.
Although I had been invited, I was not able to stay and sample the wonderful Ballathie food but I was back soon for the dancing which rounded off a great day and night
Thanks to Paul and Kelly for choosing me as your Photographer, it was lovely working with you both
