It was time for the first dance, Vic and Rob had been practicing hard and it showed through, a well polished and professional dance. The danger of a great night is that people will be outside all evening in the sun rather than dancing, I have to say I didn;t fancy the DJs job.
I wouldn’t say the floor was full but the few that were dancing were certainly enjoying themselves
In the meantime, I took Vic and Rob away for a wander round the grounds of Ballathie for more photographs. The sun was low in the sky and the light was beautiful.
Then it was time for fireworks, this was a surprise for the guests and it was very well received.
A few Chinese lanterns finished the night off nicely, as the final rays of daylight disappeared over the roof of the Hotel, it was time for me to say my farewells. A long 13.5 hour day but a great couple, great friends and a lovely evening. Vic and Rob, thanks so much for inviting me into your day and welcoming me like a friend. Have a great honeymoon and I’ll talk to you when you get back from France.
