One of the many times this year I have photographed a Wedding at Forbes of Kingennie, this was a beautiful autumn day and the reflections on the fishing ponds were just lovely. Dawn was getting ready in one of the lodges on the estate, just next door to Iain as it happens which allowed me to nip between the 2 of them and get some great pre wedding shots of them both.
Dawns Son was walking her down the aisle in the ceremony building where Lynsey from Angus Registrars was waiting to perform the Wedding Ceremony, it was a lovely and very personal service which involved everyone holding hands together.
We were lucky to have wonderful weather so all the photography could be outside making full use of the lovely scenery around Forbes of Kingennie.
After the “formal photography”, Dawn and Iain spent time chatting with their guests and I followed around discreetly capturing some shots of them chatting away, Speeches followed by dinner saw the end of that part of the day. I enjoyed a lovely meal in the bar as I downloaded the days photographs and checked them over.
A good thing about a winter wedding at Forbes of Kingennie means the coloured fountain in the fishing pond can be seen and used for photography.
A great evening of dancing was on the cards as I left
Congratulations dawn and Iain, it was a real pleasure to work with you
