In Wedding Photography

It was a lovely Guthrie Castle Wedding back in September when Robin and Sanna decided to tie the knot in a small and intimate Wedding. This was quite a small Wedding by Guthrie Castle Standards but it meant that they could use the castle rather than the conference suite. The weather was fantastic and the service was to be outside in the walled gardens.  The fantastic weather reminded me (in an odd way), of another Guthrie Castle Wedding I photographed a few years back where it was just a bit wet

I checked in with Robin and Sanna in their respective rooms to check all was well then set about photographing some of the details of the day and the surroundings of the castle as well as some guests before the Service started.  A short service in the grounds was followed by a big group photograph at the top of the garden with the castle in the background. Then it was time for family photography, such a small Wedding meant that pretty much everyone was in the photographs and as always, I kept it short and sweet, experience tells me that couples don’t want to spend too much time on Photography.

Robin surprised Sanna with a hand made chocolate Easter Egg (yes I know it was September), Sanna always wanted a ring from an Easter Egg and now she had it, you can tell from the photograph just how pleased she was.

A quick walk round the stunning grounds of Guthrie Castle for some couple photographs then it was time to head off and leave them to it.

Thanks Sanna and Robin for allowing me to record your big day.
