Rufflets Wedding Photography –  When a day begins with Latex Medical Examination Gloves and finishes with Bird Pooh on a brides chest, you know it’s going to be a Wedding to remember. What  a great day it was for Annie and Steven who had picked Invergowrie Church and Rufflets hotel for their Wedding, the weather was fantastic all day long, everyone was happy and relaxed, Steven looked Handsome and Annie looked beautiful – a relatively easy day for a Wedding Photographer.

As usual my day began with Annie and her pals who were getting ready in Annies parents house in Invergowrie, you get used to being the only man in a house full of women, if it doesn’t work out for me as a photographer I might just become a make up artist, I have seen it often enough – sure I could figure it out. I was delighted that they chose Invergowrie Church, not only is the light in that building lovely and soft, the  Minister is the nicest guy ever who really understands that photographers have an important role to play in a Wedding and welcomes them with open arms. A far different approach  to some Ministers.

I spent a little time with Steven and his guys outside the Church getting some shots before Annie arrived, just a fashionable few minutes late – it was time for the main event.

As expected the Wedding Service in Invergowrie Church was enjoyable and prompt with the Minister promising he would not be one of those that bleated on and on for ever now he had a captive audience. We were quickly on our way to Rufflets Hotel in Fife for the meal but first off we stopped by the Tay Rail Bridge for a few Wedding Photographs with the Tay Bridge in the background.

Due to very bad traffic, we were very late in arriving at Rufflets but Kerry the Duty Manager managed to pull an extra 20 minutes from her bag for me which really helped and we were back on schedule. A few family shots then some couple shots round the lovely gardens and soon it was speeches time. The speeches were great, the Best Man pulled off a cracker that had everyone laughing and Annie had her head in her hands, thats always a good sign. I had dinner while downloading the photos to my laptop then it was time for dancing.
